The organizing Committee of the International Seminar “Discussion/Demonstration of Alternative Source of Energy” has the great pleasure of inform that the Seminar will take place in Kyiv, Shevchenko Blvd. 16, on 27 November 2014 and will cover two interrelated topics, i.e., (i) Ukrainian potential for alternative energy and (ii) practice and perspectives for alternative energy.
The following questions will be under discussion:
1. Introduction to alternative sources of energy.
2. New approaches for search of alternative sources of energy.
3. Contribution towards ecological culture, particularly, to understanding of the concept of minimal consumption.
4. Examples of sustainable economies with minimal energy consumption.
5. Popularization of green energy and ecological culture.
6. Development of a ‘survival kit’ under conditions of restricted energy resources in Ukraine.
7. Discussions on the ways towards energy consumption efficiency, new technologies and technical solutions for energy saving.
8. Discussions on necessity of permanent monitoring of energy, etc, consumptions at the global level.
The workshop is supported by the Swedish Institute and assisted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with partners:
